KFOR: Kosovo Security Force on joint exercise

It said that KFOR, EULEX and the Kosovo Police will conduct the Golden Sabre 2025 exercise at Camp Vrelo in Pristina on June 9-10. “For the first time, the Kosovo Security Force will also participate in this exercise, in accordance with its original civil protection mandate, through training activities on the safe handling and disposal of explosive ordnance and hazardous materials,” the press release said.

It said that the exercise for more than 600 personnel will test the implementation of crisis management procedures in different security scenarios and will help enhance the ability to operate together. “Golden Sabre 2025 is another, tangible demonstration of the well-developed and long-standing cooperation among KFOR, EULEX and the Kosovo Police,” the KFOR press release said.
