“The Prime Minister of Kosovo has pledged to address the integration of health and education structures, supported by Serbia, in consultation with Kosovo Serbs and the EU, in particular with the EU’s special representative for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue,” Koha Ditore quoted an unnamed EU spokesman as saying.
It said that Kurti said at a meeting with ambassadors that the gradual integration of the Serbian health and educational systems into Kosovo institutions will be done in coordination with the international community and the Kosovo Serbs.
Serbian officials opposed any action by Pristina to merge the parallel institutions into the Kosovo system, and demanded that a solution to the issue can only be part in the framework of the Brussels dialogue.
