Speaking at a Kosovo Government meeting, Kurti referenced Vucic’s recent announcement about opening 400 new jobs in healthcare institutions operating within the Serbian system in Kosovo.
“Employment promises, financial support, conditional offers, and benefit pledges, alongside statements from Serbian state officials that only the Serb List protects Serbia in Kosovo…These are repeated methods of Serbia’s interference in Kosovo’s electoral process,” Radio Kim quoted Kurti as saying.
He added that the European observation mission had also confirmed Serbia’s meddling in Kosovo’s election processes.

Kurti urged the European Union (EU) to sanction Serbia, an EU membership candidate, over its attempts to influence the democratic electoral processes in Kosovo.
Kurti also said that “Serbia’s meddling in the electoral process” constitutes a violation of agreements made within the Brussels Process.
