Kosovo Govt: Kurti, Lajcak discussed implementation of Brussels, Ohrid agreements
Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti discussed with European Union (EU) Special representative for the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue Miroslav Lajcak in Pristina the “aspects related to the full implementation of the Basic Agreement from Brussels and the Implementation Annex from Ohrid,” said a press release from Kurti’s office.
The Kosovo Government said the two officials also talked about “legal security through the signing (of the said agreements), and other topics and issues such as the honoring of legal procedures for early elections in four municipalities in the north of Kosovo.”
“The Kosovo Government remains committed to full normalization of relations with Serbia and mutual recognition, through a process of equal, balanced and fair dialogue for both parties,” said the press release.
Following his meeting with Kurti, Lajcak also met with Kosovo First Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi.
