Kosovo Health Ministry inspectors searched the local medical center in the majority-Serb populated town of Strpce, the Serbian government’s Office for Kosovo said on Wednesday claiming that the inspectors were searching for coronavirus vaccines.

The press release said that the inspectors entered the medical center under police guard. They handed the head of the medical center a record of the raid with a warning that the possession of “illegally acquired vaccines is a crime”, it added.

“There is no administrative or political excuse to justify the anti-humane behavior of Pristina, especially since this is not the first attempt to prevent the providing of adequate and timely protection and treatment for the Serb people in Kosovo,” the press release said.

The Office for Kosovo said that it would inform international institutions about what it said was Pristina’s “anti-civilizational behavior”.
