Kosovo ministry says Serbia releases suspected war criminal

It identified the man as Sadik Duraku, a Kosovar who holds UK citizenship. Duraku was arrested at the Batrovci border crossing between Croatia and Serbia in April. No explanation was given for his release.

“The Foreign Ministry will continue monitoring cases like this and will inform the international community of arbitrary and destructive steps taken by Serbia contrary to international human rights conventions,” a press release said.
