The Government of Kosovo will not give up implementing reciprocity with Serbia regarding license plates and ID cards, Kosovo’s Interior Minister Dzeljalj Sveclja said Saturday.

Sveclja stated in the interview that there are indications that incidents in the north could be repeated even before September 1 by a criminal factor supported by Serbia, under the influence of Russia, Kossev reported.

Regardless of the situation, the Minister noted that there is no possibility for a new postponement of the deadline because the institutions of Kosovo are determined to extend their powers to the entire country, as they have the support of the international factor and KFOR.

Sveclja told Kljan TV that Kosovo's institutions are ready to face any kind of situation that may arise.

"We hope there won’t be any tension, we believe that there is no reason for such a thing. But there are also indications that they may happen. We’re ready to face any type of situation, our institutions are mature, strong and ready to face any legal task they receive. But we also have the relentless support of the international factor," he told "Kljan News".

Asked where he got this information from, Sveclja said it came from the field, but also from the international community.
