Kosovo Police arrest war crimes suspect

KoSSev quoted a press release from the Special Prosecutor’s office that said the man, identified only by the initials RM, was charged with complicity in the killing of 34 ethnic Albanian civilians in a village in the Malisevo municipality. It said the war crime was committed by Serbian police and military forces in the village of Jovici between March 29 and 31, 1999.

The prosecution press release said that the arrest was based on material evidence and eyewitness accounts. KoSSev said no other details were given.
