The Kosovo Police ended its operations in the Banjska area after completing a search of the area and seizing weapons and equipment, the KoSSev news portal said.
It quoted Region North deputy police chief Veton Elsani who said that full access to the village of Banjska was not allowed overnight in expectation of a Kosovo government decision to allow freedom of movement.
The police deployed in strength, including Special Police units, to the area around the village of Banjska and the local monastery after uniformed Kosovo Serbs erected barricades and clashed with the police on Sunday.
