Kosovo police to issue warnings over license plates

The KoSSev news portal said the benefits (tax exemptions) offered by the government to re-register vehicles will be in place up to March 31 with re-registration possible up to April 21 without those benefits. The Kosovo government decided on Friday to extend the deadline for the re-registration past October 31, partly meeting demands from the US and European Union.

According to KoSSev, the police will issue warnings for the next three weeks and will start fining drivers with Serbian-issued license plates 150 Euro as of November 21. Temporary plates will also be issued over the next two months.
