A press release said that Serb List officials told Davenport that the Kosovo Serbs have been facing difficulties in their everyday lives since Prime Minister Albin Kurti came to power. They claimed that the Serbs’ basic human rights were not being respected and that they were constantly subjected to institutional violence in the form of groundless arrests, property seizures, attacks on the Serbian Orthodox Church and violations of existing agreements.

“The latest decision to ban the Dinar and payments, along with assaults on Serbian institutions and harassment of doctors and municipal administration staff are part of deliberate plan to chase the Serbs out of the their ancestral homes,” it added.
