Kosovo-Serb representative: Vucic experienced a debacle, licence plates are treason

Trajkovic told N1 that many people from the north of Kosovo came to Saturday's protest of ProGlas due to election irregularities, including many of those south of the Ibar River and displaced people.

Trajkovic said he was an optimist and that he feels there will be some changes.

"The people are dissatisfied because their will was stolen. The people from Kosovo expect changes in Belgrade to have a chance. We don't know how much better those who come tomorrow would be, but for us the most important thing is that the government is changeable so that we can look for answers in that changeability, in that democratic process. And what the current government is doing is treasonous," said Trajkovic.

When asked how come, when people from Kosovo voted convincingly for the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), he said that this is not the actual situation on the ground. According to him, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic experienced a debacle in Kosovo.

“Around 17,000 voters voted in his favour, out of 94,000 that were registered on electoral rolls. That is somewhere around 24 percent. The others did not vote for him. And those who voted for him did so under the most difficult conditions - they were blackmailed, some of them were paid off, and I'm sure that some of the votes were stolen. If votes are being stolen in the rest of Serbia, what do you think the situation was with the Kosovo Serb votes? Aleksandar Vucic has no support for such a policy," he said and added that the time when Serbs from Kosovo supported Vucic has passed.

When asked about the fact that the government silently accepted Kosovo license plates without stickers and hiding of emblems, while protests continued in Belgrade, Trajkovic said that this is "treason, a lie, and fraud. I have never met a politician so corrupt, fickle, who is ready to bring his people to their knees, just to rule," said Momcilo Trajkovic.
