Kosovo’s Government said on Thursday it would form a commission tasked with documenting the destruction of cultural heritage during the 1998-1999 war.

Serbia’s Ministry of Culture and Information described later on Thursday Kosovo’s decision to form a commission as “a farse and the escalation of nonsense.”

He added the commission would be made of professionals, state officials and international experts.

It will consider all the documents gathered so far and make a state inventory of all monuments destroyed during the 1998-1999 war against Belgrade armed forces.
