“See where we are and what ideas there are, how to move on. I believe that the Basic Agreement and the Ohrid annex will normalize relations between Kosovo and Serbia with de facto recognition at its center,” he said.

He said that agreement of February 2023 is “a European solution for good neighbor relations which was not implemented” and claimed that it was systematically violated before implementation. According to him, problems in Pristina’s relations with Belgrade stem from violations of the agreement.

Kurti blamed the authorities in Belgrade for the tensions and escalation of the situation in Kosovo.
