Kurti concerned over threats to police officers
Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti told OSCE Ambassador Michael Davenport that he is concerned over threats by the Serbian authorities to recently engaged police officers, the Beta news agency reported quoting a press release from Kurti’s cabinet.
It said that Kurti and Davenport discussed early elections in the northern majority-Serb municipalities and the integration of minority communities.
The OSCE mission in Pristina said in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that Davenport “discussed community rights and rule of law issues in a call on Prime Minister Albin Kurti”. “Exchanged notes on expropriation practices Kosovo-wide and offered OSCE support and advice in areas of common interest,” the post said. It did not mention local elections.
