Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti said on Wednesday that the government is opposed to criminals and committed to development and equality.

“We are responsible authorities opposed to crime, committed to development, integration, equality for all, respect for minority rights and in the service of the citizens with no discrimination,” he told a meeting of his cabinet.

According to Kurti, the people who urge others to quit institutions are the people who don’t like legality and constitutionality, the fight against crime and corruption.

Kosovo Serbs have walked out of the police, judiciary and other institutions following the suspension of a the police commander in Region North who refused to issue warnings and fines to drivers with Serbian-issued license plates following the October 31 deadline to replace them with Republic of Kosovo plates.
