Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti said that he is optimistic when it comes to the agreement as part of the Belgrade - Pristina dialogue, because now there is a new approach that is on the Brussels agenda, pointing out that "mutual recognition is no longer at the end of the process, but is at the centre of the agreement."

The talks held in Brussels should not only serve for crisis management but also for agreements, Kurti said at the seminar of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly in Pristina, Kossev reported.

„We entered a new phase from August 18 this year, it is a new phase because the first topic in the Borrell cabinet in Brussels was the general framework of the agreement. So, it’s a dialogue for the agreement – we will talk about the framework,“ said Kurti adding that this does not mean that there will be no other points in the agreement, but that the central part will be mutual recognition.

„This new approach, with the new agenda in Brussels where we want to have a general agreement framework, makes me optimistic about the months ahead in reaching a legally binding agreement,“ said Kurti.
