Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti said on Tuesday that his cabinet is committed to reaching a legally binding agreement to normalize relations with Belgrade.
A statement from the Prime Minister’s cabinet, released after Kurti’s meeting with Quinta ambassadors and the head of the European Union office in Pristina, said that the agreement would be centered on mutual recognition.
“In the discussion of the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, the commitment of the Kosovo government to a principled and balanced dialogue to reach a legally binding agreement for the full normalization of relations with mutual recognition at its center,” it said.
The statement said that the meeting also discussed the implementation of the Energy Road Map and the implementation of the agreement with ENTSO-E and continuing cooperation and coordination with the EU and the governments of the United States, United Kingdom, Italy Germany and France.
