Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti said in Brussels on Wednesday that he defended the agreement to normalize Belgrade-Pristina relations from Serbia. Pročitaj više
He accused official Belgrade of failing to implement the Basic Agreement and the Ohrid Annex and confirmed that he set three conditions to meet with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic. European Union High Representative Josep Borrell said earlier that his planned trilateral meeting with Vucic and Kurti did not take place because the Kosovo Prime Minister set conditions.
Kurti said he demanded the signing of the Basic Agreement by his and the Serbian government and added that the agreement is based on de facto recognition of Kosovo. According to Kurti, Pristina won’t allow the sidelining of the Basic Agreement by making the Community of Serb Municipalities (CSM) a priority issue.
He said that he demanded the extradition of Kosovo Serb politician Milan Radoicic who headed a group of armed men in the Banjska armed incident to prevent more terrorist attacks. “Radoicic has to be handed over to the Kosovo authorities or there will be no normalization and peace in the region,” he said.
