Kurti: Serbia threatening third Balkan war

Kurti accused Serbian president Alexander Vucic of acting like "Germany between the World Wars" and warned recent crises in Kosovo and Bosnia could escalate if Western governments do not take him seriously, the daily quoted him as saying.

Kurti said that Vucic is being encouraged by Russian President Vladimir Putin and warned that the crises in Kosovo and Bosnia-Herzegovina could escalate if the West fails to take heed. The Kosovo Prime Minister said that the situation is more dangerous than before and recalled that Serbia had increased spending on its military which was deployed along the boundary line.

Kurti denied Vucic’s claims that he was preparing another police operation to take control of a power station in the north of Kosovo.

Serbian government Office for Kosovo chief Petar Petkovic reacted to Kurti’s statements saying that the world has to realize that the Kosovo Prime Minister is a dangerous man.
