Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti demanded the removal of military and police bases in Serbia in talks with American officials in Washington.
Kosovo media reported that Kurti said he wants 48 military and gendarmerie bases removed from the border between Serbia and Kosovo, adding that the area should be demilitarized.
He also told a meeting with some 20 congressmen that he wants the Russian Humanitarian Center in the southern Serbian city of Nis shut down along with the Russian liaison office in Serbia’s Defense Ministry.
The media quoted Kurti as saying that Pristina’s relations with the United States is exceptionally strong and unbreakable.
