Lajcak meets Vucic in Belgrade, travels to Pristina on Tuesday

European Union Special Representative Miroslav Lajcak is meeting Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic in Belgrade on Monday before going to Pristina a day later.

The Serbian state TV (RTS) said quoted the president’s press service as saying that Lajcak is due at the Presidency at 12.30 to discuss the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue other regional issues while Radio TV Kosovo (RTK) said that Lajcak is due to travel to Pristina on Tuesday, adding that there is no official confirmation that he will meet Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
Lajcak will meet with Pristina’s chief negotiator Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi.
Lajcak’s visits come in the wake of a January 17 decision by the Central Bank of Kosovo to make the Euro the only legal currency, causing concern among the Kosovo Serbs.
