The Tomanovic Law Office said it received the information that “500,000 euros has already been paid for the assassination of inspector Slobodan Milenkovic,” and that there is suspicion that the same amount of money has also been paid for the assassination of inspector Dusan Mitic.
Slobodan Milenkovic, former head of the Anti-Drug Department of the Belgrade Police, and Dusan Mitic, former head of operations of the same department, are the lead investigators responsible for uncovering the marijuana cultivation operation of the ‘Jovanjica’ plantation whose owner is allegedly linked to state officials.
The Law Office added that Milenkovic will inform the relevant authorities about the new information and provide the name of the person who has paid for the assassination as well as that of the person on whose orders it has been paid.
“The police and the prosecutor's office need to immediately stop the political games of the right to life and to use all their resources to prevent evil,” said the Tomanovic Law Office.
