Lazovic: Opposition even more determined to stand up to ruling SNS

“It is really important that we call on our friends, colleagues, to convince them that there is no surrender before the SNS,” Lazovic told the Beta news agency.

In addition to the elections for the Belgrade Assembly and its 17 municipalities, local election in 66 cities and municipalities across Serbia will also be held on June 2.

“Of course the conditions under which we are participating in the elections are unfair, but that is what makes us even more determined to stand up to the SNS and to refuse to surrender to them a single city, a single municipality,” said Lazovic.

“We think we all need to fight on the streets, in the Parliament, in the institutions and in elections, just as we fought to preserve the Sava embankment, our rivers and riverbanks, just as we fought so many times to protect public and natural goods,” he added.
