LDP leader questioned over sonic weapon statement

Liberal Democrat Party (LDP) leader Cedomir Jovanovic was questioned by the police following his statements on live TV about the use of sonic weapon against protesters in Belgrade on March 15.

Jovanovic appeared on a Tanjug TV talk show, saying that a sound cannon was used during the mass protest in Belgrade and that 200 armed men were allowed into the Serbian parliament building allegedly preparing to attack the protesters.
He posted an Instagram video to say that he was summoned for questioning by the police Internal Affairs Service by text message which said the police only want to talk to him. He said the police were prepared to take his statement which discloses the circumstances he spoke about on Tanjug TV.
A video of Jovanovic speaking on Tanjug TV ended with him asking when the show would start and looking surprised that he was on the air live all the time while talking about the use of a sonic weapon and other details of the March 15 protest.
