Less deaths in Serbia than in same period last year
The Republic Statistics Office (RZS) said that 14,296 children were born in Serbia in the period January-March 2023 and that 26,685 deaths were recorded in the same period.
It said that 88 more children were born in the first three months of the current year than in the same period last year.
According to the RZS, the number of deaths recorded in this period was 25.3 percent less than in the same period a year earlier.
