Media: WHO plans to approve two Chinese vaccines

The World Health Organisation (WHO) was reported to plan the approval of several additional Western and two Chinese anti-coronavirus vaccines in the next weeks and months to resolve the lack of injections across the world, the Chinese Media Group (CMG) reported on Monday.

The British-made AstraZeneca and India’s Institute for Serums vaccine may be approved this or next month, South Korean-made doses in February, the WHO documents some media had access to said.

It added the WHO was considering to soon approve two Chinese vaccines Sinofarm and Sinovak Biotech, possibly in March.
