The Special Anti-Corruption Section of the Higher Public Prosecution in Belgrade ordered the arrest of the Nurses’ Chamber former CEO, identified only by initials, for illegal gains of some 30 million Dinars (1 Euro – 117 Dinars) along with an accountant. The prosecution statement said that the two women transferred money from Chamber accounts to their personal accounts and took money from the humanitarian aid provided to Chamber members.
The Special Anti-Corruption Section also ordered the military police to arrest the head of the VMA emergency and toxicology Clinic for illegal gains of some 3 million Dinars. A separate statement said that the woman, also identified by initials, ordered her subordinates to charge DUI patients through an auxiliary office instead of the main financial office for services rendered.
