„Citizens of Serbia don’t have an answer to the question that has been asked repeatedly in the National Assembly – what the competent authorities have done so far in connection with the murder of Oliver Ivanovic, as well as who commissioned and authored the shameful video that was broadcast on TV Pink and TV Most in October 2017 in which Oliver Ivanovic was labelled as a dishonest man and a traitor,“ Milivojevic noted.

He stated that Serbia has been waiting for seven years for „Zeljko Mitrovic, the owner of Pink TV, to announce who paid for the broadcast of this video in prime time on his TV.“

The MP stressed that the public also demands an answer to the question of who added the part showing blood spilling on the screen and a sniper’s aim to that shameful video.

We should not forget the fact, he added, that Veljko Belivuk, a prominent member of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), declared before the prosecutor for organized crime that he had reliable information about Ivanovic’s murder, but neither he nor the most powerful woman in the security sector at the time, Dijana Hrkalovic, listened.

„In Serbia, power was usurped by the same political actors who were in power at the time of the murders of Slavko Curuvija and Ivan Stambolic, and those murders were announced in the media in the same way as the murder of Ivanovic,“ concluded the DS’ MP, and calling on the citizens of Serbia to vote for the „Serbia against violence“ coalition on December 17.
