Milo Rau: Hoping for a guerrilla BITEF, as authorities seek to destroy the festival

Swiss director Milo Rau’s production “The Pelicot Trial” will not appear on the lineup of this year’s Belgrade International Theatre Festival (BITEF), following a decision by the festival board. However, this move lacked the support of the festival leaders, including artistic director Milos Lolic and his collaborator, dramaturg Borisav Matic.
