European Integration Minister Jadranka Joksimovic said on Thursday that there is no dilemma about Serbia’s commitment to continue the European integration process but added that the criteria for candidate countries are too strict sometimes.
“We are prepared for the new methodology and expect an inter-governmental conference as soon as possible to see if we can agree to sepped up the process, she told the online meeting of the European Parliament EU-Serbia Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee.
She said that some things were running late in 2020 but that things were late with other countries, including European Union member states as well as the European Commission which was late with its reports.
