Minister says Chinese companies building infrastructure in Serbia

“We have 8 big road traffic projects,” the minister told the state TV (RTS) adding that those include highway sections and bridges. Chinese companies are also finishing a road from the city of Pozega to the border with Montenegro.

Speaking prior to the visit to Belgrade by Chinese President Xi Jinping, Vesic said that Chinese companies are working on a tunnel and a new bridge in the center of Belgrade.

Vesic said that Serbia should work with Chinese companies on AI and the smart management of transport systems. “There really is a lot of room to continue cooperation with China,” he said.
