Serbian Mining and Energy Minister Dubravka Djedovic said on Wednesday that the country’s gas supplies are stable.

A ministry press release quoted her as saying that there are no problems with the daily gas supplies needed for households, the economy and central heating plants.

“It’s very important to have continued supplies at favorable prices while gas prices rise constantly on the global market. We will try to secure sufficient amounts of gas in line with planned consumption in the coming period,” Djedovic said.
The minister said that there are sufficient amounts of gas in the Banatski Dvor storage facility and in the storage facilities Serbia is using in Hungary.
