Mining and Energy Minister Dubravka Djedovic Handanovic said that the Serbian national power company EPS reported profits of 30 billion Dinars in the first 9 months of the year.
She told reporters at the EPS Dispatch and Trading Center that the profits were 30 percent higher than planned.
According to her, the EPS reported electricity trading profits of 7.5 million Euro in October alone.
She said EPS made profits despite the fact that it had to import electricity over the summer and the major repairs in three power plants.
