Serbian Construction, Traffic and Infrastructure Minister Goran Vesic threatened to use “all rights under the concession agreement” unless Vinci Airports resolve problems at Belgrade airport.

Dozens of flights have been canceled or ran late at the airport over the past few weeks. Air Serbia said in a press release that it was reorganizing its flights to avoid more delays.

“I called the management of the French Company Vinci to an urgent meeting tomorrow at 8 am,” Vesic said in a Twitter post, and gave the concession holder of the Nikola Tesla Airport 24 hours to draw up a plan to solve the situation. “The Vinci company owes answers to many questions at tomorrow's meeting, starting with why they don't have enough employees, and ending with why the equipment they bought and chose themselves doesn't work,” he wrote.

“Serbia will use all its rights given to us by the concession agreement in these situations. Serbia has fulfilled all its obligations under the concession contract. We expect the same from concessionaires,” he Tweeted.
