Serbian Internal Affairs Minister Aleksandar Vulin said that “competent authorities will come and talk” with Defence Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic and Predrag Koluvija, the first indictee in the Jovanjica farm case linked to marijuana growth, regarding Koluvija's allegations that he was offered freedom if he “falsely accuses Serbian President's brother, Andrej Vucic.”

“There are no protected ones with Aleksandar Vucic, including Stefanovic. We will see what’s the truth, let’s not judge from media, let’s wait,” Vulin told Pink TV, commenting on the allegations published by the Objektiv tabloid, which carried Koluvija as saying that he Minister Stefanovic’s cabinet offered him freedom if he falsely accuses Andrej Vucic in the Jovanjica case.

Predrag Koluvija was arrested end of 2019 and is on trial on charges of producing large amounts of marijuana. He was released from custody a few days ago. The interview published by Objektiv tabloid Koluvija gave to his lawyer in the proceedings, Vladimir Djukanovic, a member of the Serbian Progressive Party and chairman of the Serbian Parliament’s Judiciary Committee.

“They were sure I would accept their offer,” said Koluvija.

Minister Vulin said that Djukanovic, the lawyer who spoke to Koluvija, is a “very serious man.”
