Ministry: Serbian firefighters deployed to France to help battle wildfires

A team of 34 members of the Sector for Emergency Management, along with three medical staff from the MUP’s occupational health department, will be stationed near the town of Vailhauques in southern France. The deployment is part of an international aid mission coordinated through the European Union Civil Protection Mechanism.

Internal Affairs Minister Ivica Dacic noted that Serbia has also sent 40 emergency personnel to Spain, equipped with 17 vehicles and two trailers, to assist with wildfire efforts there.
