Mitrovica woman clown stages performance prior to Kosovo elections

The woman refused to identify herself saying that she is leaving her performance open to interpretation. The performance titled Every Circus Needs a Clown was held in front of a container planned to be used for the elections.

Local elections are set to take place in the four north Kosovo municipalities whose Serb mayors resigned last November. Kosovo Serb parties, including the Belgrade-backed Serb List, are refusing to stand in the elections with the exception of one woman who is running for one of the mayoral positions.
