The Mondo Inc company denied that its franchise partnership contract with Euractiv had been terminated as reported by N1 earlier this week.
N1 was told by sources on Monday that the Euractiv news portal terminated its franchise partner contract with that pro-regime media company in Serbia after less than a year. The contract was initially signed with Igor Zezelj’s Adria Media which changed its name to Mondo Inc. Zezelj is known for a multi-million Euro deal with the state-controlled Telekom Serbia.
“The Mondo Inc contract with Euractiv is still in place and our cooperation with Euractiv is going ahead unobstructed and successfully as it has to date,” the company said in its response to the Monday report.
It said that the Euractiv Serbia portal “operates as part of the Mondo portal (the legal successor to the Adria Media Group) positioned as a relevant source of information and a central point for politics, business and civil society in Serbia as well as for exchanges of views on European Union-Serbia relations, it added.
