Serbia’s Foreign Minister Nikola Selakovic and his Mongolian counterpart Batmunkh Battsetseg signed an agreement on economic and trade cooperation on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly meeting in New York, his office said on Friday.

Selakovic said Belgrade was open to improve political dialogue and overall cooperation with Ulaanbaatar, particularly in the economy.

He offered Mongolia to send students to his country within the ‘World in Serbia’ programme of scholarships for students from friendly countries.

Selakovic also discussed bilateral cooperation between the two countries with Jerome Walcott, Barbados’ Foreign and Trade Minister, also offering students from that country education in Serbia.
