According to the head of Serbia’s Election Commission (RIK), Vladimir Dimitrijevic, an MP from the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), Bratislav Jukovic, was attacked in the town of Cacak on Sunday.

Jugovic told Danas that he was attacked at the polling station in the Basic Court in Cacaak as he was trying to vote, and that the attacker insulted him. Then, the attacker hit him on the cheek, he said.

„At the moment when I was circling the candidates and the lists on the ballot, he came in and started shouting at the election commission for no reason. I told him ‘Don’t record people, take a pen and vote’, and then I was attacked,” he explained.
