The Mufti of Serbia called all Serbians to pray for an end to the war in Ukraine and progress in Serbia on Wednesday.

“Regardless of faith, I call all the people in our country Serbia to pray for peace and an end to the way and to pray together for our Serbia and its progress,” Mufti Mustafa Jusufspahic told a news conference in Belgrade’s Bayrakli mosque.

He said that this year’s Ramadan is specific because it takes place while war is being waged in Europe.

The Mufti said that “every good deed during the month (of Ramadan) is rewarded”.
