Munitions plant employees arrested for espionage

A press release said that the three engineers are suspected of having passed classified documents to an unnamed foreign organization. They will be charged with inflicting harm on the country’s security, defense and military interests.

The current and former employees of the Krusik plant have been ordered into detention.

The Krusik plant was under public scrutiny following allegations by a whistleblower that its products were being exported at cut prices by private companies with the mediation of the father of former Internal Affairs Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic.
