The village is home to several hundred people and is 220 kilometres away from the town of Lviv, but it would take a five-hour drive there.
Ukraine's westernmost town, close to the border with Poland, has not seen fighting and is a sort of a safe haven for people fleeing the war from other parts of the country.
According to the villagers N1's reporter talked to, some fighting happened 100 kilometres away, but numerous refugees passed by the village.
The villagers also said they were concerned and scared.
On Thursday, the official data said that over a million people left Ukraine since Russia invaded it on February 24. On Friday, the number has increased, and estimates said it could go up to ten million and more refugees from the war-torn country.
N1's reporter who crossed to Ukraine from Romania said that the Ukrainian army checked refugees on the border crossing. The border police were present, but the military was in charge.
