N1 reporter offered money at a trial

Reporter Ana Novakovic was told by Benjamin Hasanagic to “write an article and be paid well for it”. Hasanagic’s son is one of the plaintiffs at the trial of Belgrade Police narcotics department inspectors. The inspectors were indictd for beating up two young men after they refused to pay what the policemen said they were owed.

The elder Hasanagic first asked the reporter who she is and then offered to pay her for an article. Novakovic told him he should be ashamed of himself and reported him to the judge who ordered Hasanagic out of the courtroom.
