A statement about the election, justifying the police raid, was deleted from the School of Medicine web portal. It said that the elections were regular and in line with democratic standards and added that a crowd of supporters of the losing list gathered outside the building, showing aggression which required a police presence. A screenshot of the statement was posted by Medical School in Blockade.

According to the records, the SINAPS group (Students in Blockade) won 934 votes while the Medical Circle (former members of the Student Parliament) won 859 votes on white paper ballots but if the ballots printed on yellow paper are included in the county, the elections were won by Medical Circle which is made up of former Student Parliament members.

The ballots printed on paper of two different colors raises suspicions of election fraud.

Students said there were a number of irregularities at the vote, including a police raid to evict students and the dean from the school.

The ballots were first counted by an election commission and then recounted by both student groups. SINAPSA members noticed the different ballots and noted that the votes they won were all only on white paper while Medical Circle won votes on both white and yellowish paper ballots.
