Dacic informed Colomina in detail about the latest developments in Kosovo and particularly stressed the importance of the impartial and status-neutral engagement of KFOR in preserving peace and security in the province, and preventing potential incidents, said a Foreign Ministry press release.
Colomina said the Alliance fully respects Serbia's military neutrality policy and confirmed that KFOR will continue to exercise its mandate in accordance with United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244, and that it is ready to react if security is threatened.
The two officials said they were satisfied with the achieved level of political dialogue and partnership cooperation between Serbia and NATO on issues of common interest with the aim of preserving peace and stability in the region, said the Ministry.
