MP of the We – The Voice of the People movement Branimir Nestorovic said Thursday that no one can expel him from the movement because he is its “authorized representative.”

He added that this information can be verified at the Serbian Business Registers Agency.

In an interview with the pro-regime Happy TV Nestorovic said that movement co-founder Branko Pavlovic cannot expel him, and that even the movement’s account is in his name, because he headed the We – The Voice from the People election ticket.

“This means that they will not get any money,” said Nestorovic, alluding to the money paid by the state to the political parties and movements that have representatives in the parliament.

He added that there have been conflicts in the We – The Voice of the People movement for some time now, and that everything started when the person who keeps the movement’s books told him that one of the co-founders, Dragan Stanojevic, was attempting to withdraw money from the account without authorization.

The We – The Voice of the People movement has 13 MPs in the Serbian Parliament and six councilor seats in the Belgrade Assembly, owing to which the formation of the majority and of the new governing coalition is dependent on it.
