
Newly-elected judges were sworn in at a ceremony in the Serbian Parliament on Tuesday.
The new judges stood before Supreme Court President Jasmina Vesovic and Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic, pledging to abide by the Constitution and laws, a press release said.
The new judges will take office in basic courts in Sid, Nis, Kranjevo, Dimitrovgrad and Lazarevac, misdemeanour court in Pancevo, Administrative Court, commercial courts in Belgrade, Sremska Mitrovic, Sombor and Senta, as well as judges of the First, Second and Third basic court in Belgrade, it said
“The oath-taking ceremony at the National Assembly was also attended by the President of the High Judicial Council Zorana Delibasic and member of the High Judicial Council from the ranks of judges Snezana Bjelogrlic,” the press release added.
