The Special Prosecution in Pristina filed an indictment against C.A., charging him with war crimes against the civilian population in the territory of Kosovo in the first half of 1999, KoSSev reported.
According to the charges, from January to May 1999, in association with (to this date unidentified) persons, C.A. “committed a war crime against the civilian population in an organized manner, in police, paramilitary and military uniform,” reported KoSSev.
The Special Prosecution did not state the nationality of the man indicted Thursday.
The Special Prosecution proposed to start the trial before the Basic Court in Pristina in absentia because all efforts to find the accused have been exhausted.
